I am writing to relate to you my experience with your company over the past 5 days.
Most importantly, I owe the nice woman who was manning the phones around 5:30pm on Friday evening, July 20th, an apology. I was completely out of line in yelling at her, and I spoke in a way that I regret tremendously. There is never any excuse for speaking to someone in such a manner, and I am very sorry.
We originally called your company on Sunday, July 15th, because our rental property (where my mom and aunt currently live) developed an A/C issue. The lady who answered the phone was very courteous, and got us on the schedule for Thursday, July 19th. That call was quoted at $79. While I was scheduling this service call, she mentioned a “bundle deal” where for $119, we could also get a plumbing inspection done. The way this was conveyed was that the plumbing inspection and A/C call-out were bundled for $119. That seemed like a reasonable deal, so I accepted. Both techs could come out in the same 2-hour window, which was very convenient.
On Thursday, the A/C tech was able to come out earlier, and it turned out that the electrical fix we had done as an emergency by Xcel on Monday, July 16th, had in fact fixed the A/C issue. So, the tech did a service on the unit, which was then quoted as $119. I asked him to please find out how that affected the bundle, and then didn’t hear back from him. While he was there, the plumber came out and did his inspection.
At that point, I received two invoices, for $119 EACH. I was, as you can probably understand, surprised and felt a bit taken advantage of. I would never have spent an EXTRA $119 to have a plumbing inspection done that basically informed me that the house is old. I already knew that. That very afternoon I called and spoke with someone about my confusion... Full review on Facebook, Yelp, etc.

Provided by YP.comProblem with AC, they came same day, narrowed it to 2 possible problems. Technician suggested I start with lowest price first which surprised me. So many companies these days will take whatever they can get from you. Would definitely trust them again and recommend to friends and family.

Provided by YP.comBrothers is great! I called and they told me they'd be over between 3 and 5, and at 1 they called to tell me they had an opening. By 1:30 Daniel was over and diagnosing the heating issue we were having. Daniel was able to correct the issue (a/c coil was dirty causing over heating issues in the furnace), quickly and efficiently.

Provided by YP.comTheir prices are about 3-5x higher than any other HVAC company. They wanted almost $500 to replace a capacitor in my air conditioner. I ordered the part on Amazon for $30 and replaced it myself in 10 minutes. Should have read the reviews first.

Provided by YP.comOur water heater died at 7 o'clock on a Thursday evening, right as we were about to give our toddler a bath. We called Brothers who said they could come out at 10am the following morning. They were right on time and extremely professional and courteous. They replaced our water heater for just under $3K (a 50 gallon) and the tech was incredibly informative about everything he was doing. Before he left, he made sure to go over the job -in detail- with us to ensure we understood what he'd done and that the job had been completed to our satisfaction. We were definitely happy with this service. Thanks!

Provided by YP.comTrying to get an estimate from these guys is like pulling an abscessed tooth from a tiger. Yikes! If it is this hard to get information from them on the phone, what can I expect if they're on site.

However, once we have a chance to inspect the project and before any work is performed, we provide you with a precise price up front so you know the cost of each possible option.
