James Klingensmith, C.Ht. is a graduate from HMI and has a successful hypnotherapy practice in Denver, Colorado. In addition to his private practice, James hosts a fun stage hypnosis show, and currently is the Official Hypnotist of the Alice Morning Radio Show. In 1997 James was diagnosed with a rare case of light sensitivity in his eyes that caused him extreme pain and blindness in light. It was to the point where James needed to wear sunglasses that blocked 80% of the light even at night and inside buildings. He consulted numerous eye doctors and specialists, yet no one was able to help. During his course study at HMI, James experienced the power of hypnosis firsthand, and successfully used self-hypnosis to correct his eyesight, forget the pain, and desensitize the light. With hypnosis he has also been able to quit smoking, quit soft drinks, and change his taste buds to like healthier foods. James discovered his talent in helping people to overcome their problems at a very young age, experimenting with hypnosis after seeing his father quit smoking with hypnotherapy.
