Time for a name change! I ordered the risotto and when I asked for no onions I was told that it was pre-made and not made to order. How can you name a restaurant risotto and not make the food to order? When it did come out it was MUSH!!! Time to get a new name & a new chef!! Won't be recommending or returning!!!!!!

New Thornwood Restaurant Gets A+

Decided to try new italian restaurant in town and was pleasantly surprised. The outside is a bit scant, but once you step in it is a pleasant surprise. For those of you who know, it used to be Crocittos, a very dark and drab italian restaurant. The place has been renovated and looks so much bigger, brighter and cleaner. The food was excellent! I had the short ribs and my husband had their signature dish, Shrimp and Risotto and both were unbelievably delicious. We also tried the homemade Tiramisu and Ricotta Cheesecake which were made to perfection. And the prices are very very reasonable, especially for this area of Westchester. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly too. They are still waiting for their liquor license, which they said they would get by third/fourth week of February. The bar looked really nice, so I hope thier license comes sooner rather than later. Will definitely be back.

Tried this restaurant for the first time this past Saturday. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The owner came around to each table and thanked them for coming. The chefs have been cooking first generation Italian recipes for almost 20 years and it shows. I had the Risotto and Shrimp, their signature dish, and it was incredible. A nice place to bring the family or friend.s The only downside is that they are still waiting for their liquor license. They said it would be there in the next week and then they would have a fully stocked bar. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends. Sarah S.
