Thorsby Drugs, owned by Jeremy and Christa Hayes, is the first pharmacy the town of Thorsby, AL has had in over 10 years. Dr. Hayes began her pharmacy career at Wood Drug Company, an independent pharmacy owned by the late Richard Wood, which was located across the street from her current location. She loved the personalized service that an independent pharmacy is able to provide, and decided to persue a career in pharmacy. After earning a doctorate degree in pharmacy at Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy, Christa worked in a variety of pharmacy settings before deciding to follow her dream of owning her own independent pharmacy. Thorsby Drugs opened its doors on June 25, 2012.
