Great atmosphere, generous portion, but not the best. I ordered lots of rolls, including spicy salmon handroll, unfortunately the salmon came out cold...

TERRIBLE Experience

Ok, first to be fair; I have been to Cho Cho San several times with a descent experience. With the number of good restaurants opening in TO, my family has been dining at other establishments with great results but my 15 year old son wanted this for his birthday...

The cook preparing our dinner was giving us the "show", but was not having a good day and was totally void of personality. A small issue with a couple sitting next to us (they forgot to put veggies into the fried rice) turned into a huge deal when the management challenged them by bringing a bowl of rice with a single 1/4 inch cube of carrot on top and stating "you probably overlooked the vegitables, this is how we serve it". Seeing what they were presenting as their excuse got us involved and lead down a path that ruined our entire night.

A simple apology was all the other diner was looking for; after the manager insulted him with their presentation, he insisted that they take the fried rice off our tables bill. Both of our credit cards dissappeared for over 20 minutes while they fumbled with the situation. The end result was a couple of dollars off both of our bills for the missing vegitables.

I can excuse a simple mistake but the way that this was handled was totally unprofessional and insulting to the entire table. If you go, you will probably have a good dinner but beware that if you do happen to have an issue, you can expect to be treated very poorly!

Excellent Service and Food

I went to this Sushi place about 5 years ago and have tried others and there is no replacement for their food, and great service, the atmosphere is amazing and they always make you feel comfortable. I have recommended this sushi place "My Sushi" place to many friends and family members....the best in the Valley..Go and try them for yourself.
