This Facility is Fifty years old, and does not provide phones in any of the rooms; instead, it is expected that Patients have Cell phones for personal use. The Nurses Station (Unit) or Operator, have cordless phones as a courtesy for outgoing or incoming calls, when requested. In addition, there is one bathroom between two rooms, which means there are two doors connecting. There are no locks on either door, for easy access, in case of emergency. On the other hand, there are no provisions for signs to use on the outside of either door, when in use. Nor any toliet seat covers. It's hard to believe that anyone would be content without these necessities. Place needs to be updated! Other than passing-out Medication or providing Physical, Occupational or Inhalation Therapy, the CNA's do the majority of the hard work involved in providing care (i.e., assisting with bathing, changing Incontinence Undergarments, feeding, etc.) for Patients; this is a practice in all Rehab/Long Term Facilities.
