More than 130 countries worldwide use high-speed metal parts forming machinery from National Machinery. The company designs, develops and manufactures high-speed forming machines that use cold, warm and hot processes to produce a variety of metal parts, including rivets, bolts, nuts, sparkplug shells, gears, wrist pins, shock absorber components, fittings, retainers, precision balls and rollers. Many of National Machinery s products are manufactured via its own FORMAX line of equipment, which was introduced in 1989 to simplify cold-forming processes. National Machinery was founded in 1874 and has headquarters in Tiffin, Ohio. It also operates service centers in Japan and Germany. The company s acquisitions have included the E.J. Manville Company and J.G. Kayser Company.
