I was skeptical at first considering that I've had marginal success with my old resume. I'm glad I made the choice to have my resume professionally written though. In just two weeks I've gotten four positive responses from employers. The timeliness was exceptional and my resume looks better than I could have imagined.

Worth every penny. JUST DO IT! As someone who reviews resumes on a regular basis, having a catchy resume that grabs your attention immediately separates you from the pack. It's amazing how many good qualified folks are looking for jobs with terrible resumes. Don't be the guy who looks as though you put 10 minutes into your resume! As a busy professional it was nice to let someone else stress about putting together my resume. These folks were great in all aspects. Very friendly and professional. They take the time in the phone interview to really get to know you a bit before constructing your resume. They listen and value your input. Great experience!

Rick was able to transform my lengthy, monotonous resume into and incredible, eye-catching resume.I was amazed at the difference it made just by a quick glance alone. He made my skill sets and certifications stand out and I am more than manager's eye and fully expect to get more hits on the websites once I replace my old resume. After being with my employer for 15 years, writing my résumé was the last thing I wanted, or knew how, to do. A Better Resume Service was open on Saturdays (as well as weekdays), so my work schedule was fortunately not an obstacle. I was skeptical at first, not knowing much about this type of thing, but there was more than one upside. First, the information-gathering process was a revelation, bringing up topics and achievements that I hadn't thought of in years. This was infinitely helpful when I started getting interviews, since I could speak more clearly about these things after discussing them with my résumé writer. When I went to pick up my résumé, I literally got goose-bumps. My qualifications could never have looked so good if I had done this myself. Since then, I got some good interviews, and more than a few offers. I also sent my neighbors to their Tinley Park office, and both husband and wife along with their post-college children got résumés done. Exceptional, overall!

Resume was provided in a non-editable format. When called, "Rick" was unhelpful at best and dishonest at worst I was told that if changes were needed re-typing my resume was the only option. All of this was conveyed in a conversation containing references to his "tech dept." and "central facility" as he answered the phone for his full-time job (Im guessing fast-food?). Dont quit your day job Rick!
