Central Middle School is a learning center that operates departments, including language arts, math, science, social studies and physical education. The school enrolls students in grades six through eight. Its facility includes a gymnasium, library, media center, fitness room, and computer and science laboratories. The school conducts classes in computer graphics, industrial technology, and family and consumer science. Its curriculum includes Spanish and French as foreign languages. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including band, choir, guitar and intramural sports. In addition, it operates clubs, such as the National Junior Honor Society, yearbook, newspaper, peer mediation, chess, art, ecology and scrabble.
