Provided by YPmobileMy 1st time happened to be on live entertainment night. My wife & I sat @ the bar & had a great time. We had the pasta special (two for 1 on wed we found out) & they were delicious. The bartender was great. Was greeted by the owner Frankie who seemed to know all his customers name & everyone gets along here. It's like an Italian cheers. We will be back

Provided by YPmobileProbably the worst experience my wife and I have ever had in our 50 years if dining out. Just so you appreciate our frame of reference, my wife is a well established Physician and i am a well seasoned Airline Captain and Veteran. We are no slouches. We arrived, asked for a table for two, a man who later turned out to be Frankie led us past some good tables to seat us at a table way back against the back wall near the emergency exit. I suggested we sit at a different adjacent table for 2 and Frankie said it was reserved. I said I noticed there were "reserved" signs on actual reserved tables and the one I wanted lacked such a sign. Frankie became quite agitated and said no that the table was reserved. I repied "fine" to which Frankie became more agitated and said I was being rude. I laughed because this was silly. My wife ordered the special seafood dish, the fish which was fine but I ordered the Pomodoro with angel hair and it was almost rancid, full of garlic and absolutely devoid of tomato flavors to offset the garlic. I asked my wife to try the pasta and she agreed it was really bad. We didnt complain and were resigned to just eat the seafood and leave the pasta. The waiter, who was fantastic, asked how the food was and we told him our experience with the pasta. He said it he would bring us sonething else but we told him it was alright and we werent that hungry. A moment pater Frankie appears. My wife explains how bad the pasta was and Frankie immediately and aggressively argues with my wife. My wife holds her ground because it really was inedible and Frankie again becomes agitated and says he wants us to leave. I get up and proceed towards the door because, at that point, I am more than happy to leave this establishment, never to return. At the front door Frankie physically grabs me. I tell him that if he doesn't unhand me I would have him charged with assault. At that he releases me and we leave. My wife pays the waiter $10 for his time as it was not his fault the food was inedible and the manager was a nut. I don't know, but in my vast experience in restaurants all over the world, the customer is right and the manager's job is to satisfy his/her patrons. This Frankie has no business even interfacing with customers until he gets his crumby attitude in check. He was worse than the waiter in customer service and then to assault a customer merely because his wife criticized the pasta?? Seriously?? I would strongly suggest you avoid this place like the proverbial plague and patronize mush better and worthy establishemts. Let's face it, not every serving at a 4 star restaurant is always perfect, and when it is bad it's the management, or in this case the lack thereof, that makes or breaks the reputation. Combine that with the physical assault perpetrated by the manager and you have a restaurant that not only doesn't deserve your patronage, but doesn't deserve to be in business, period. My only regret is that I didn't call the police and have him charged.
Absolutely Horrendous Experience!!
