Provided by YP.comI watched the store manager yell at a customer when he wanted to return an item. She was very rude, and the guy asked to talk to someone else. She blurted out "I am the power here". Really? This manager actually called the police on this customer, which was completely unnecessary. SHE CALLED THE POLICE! I can't imagine that the powers that be would condone her behavior.

Provided by YP.comIf you're going for an item that is physically hanging on a shelf, have at it! The selection is great. But if you're thinking about ordering an item, think twice.
Here's my experience:
1. Place order, fork over $2000 for what will eventually (I hope) be lovely new bathroom cabinets and a counter top.
2. A week after the estimated date, finally get word that everything is in. Pick it up.
3. Get home and find that the counter -- which we had to special order in a variety that was nowhere near our first choice due to the fact that it's a single, centered sink on a long counter -- is wrong. The sink is off to one side, clearly incompatible with the cabinetry ordered at the same time.
4. Threatened with a restocking fee to reorder. Luckily, management accepted that it was their mistake and did not press the issue. Reordered.
5. An email tells me the new counter is in. It is NOT in. Wasted trip.
6. Weeks go by. I call. They say the counter top is coming in "tomorrow" (Friday) or Monday at the latest. They will CALL.
7. They do not call. Two weeks later, I receive another email that the counter top is in.
8. Two days later, I organize a truck to pick it up. Just to be sure everything is square (that the thing is actually IN and centered)...I call. They can't find the counter top to check for the correct sink. They suggest calling in a few days--it might still be on the truck.
9. I ask that they call ME when someone is physically looking at my counter top and confirm both that it exists, and that it isn't wrong before I drive to Menards AGAIN.
10. "Sorry, ma'am. We can't call."
Oh? That's funny. Because you certainly could a few weeks ago in the middle of this crapstorm of a process. But now, the only way to get information is to swing by or pester the clueless employees with calls.
I would pay double to shop anywhere else, at this point. Why didn't I go with Home Depot? I don't know, but it's not a mistake I'll make again.

Provided by YP.comWe were in Menard's last week and all the associates were very friendly, helpful and nice. When we needed help finding an item they walked us to where it was. We live about 30 miles from the Tipp City Menard's and always find it pleasant to drive there and shop.

Provided by YP.comI purchased a washer on Saturday and was told it would be in next Sunday. It took two more days for the washer to arrive. When I got home and took the washer out of the box, the top was dented and crushed. I called the store and tolld them what was wrong, and returned it shortly after. I felt I was harassed at the guard shack when I arrived. The manager asked if I wanted them to order a new one which would take another 10-12 days or did I "just want your money back" Never once did they say sorry or even seeem to care about the problem. The service I received was extremely POOR and I will never shop this store agian. From now on I will spend my money at Lowes or Home DePot.
