Our Story About me: I bought my first computer in the late 80's. It was a Tandy 1000 running one of the first versions of DOS. I remember playing lots of games on that machine and writing several basic programs. Not sure why, but for the next several years I didn't even sit down at a computer, then around 1992 I was reintroduced to a machine running windows 3.1 a 286 with a math coprocessor. The following year I was introduced to a Sparc 10 and never looked back. I was hooked on Unix. I fixed the windows machines and programmed on the SUN boxes. By the end of the 90's I was getting calls from everyone to fix their computer. In 1999 I accepted a job with Sprint PCS, but for reasons beyond my control I never went to work there and stayed with the company I was with. I was moved into more of an IT role, but it wasn't what I really wanted. Through the first half of 2000 I was an engineering manager, and also an administrator for the SUN engineering sub net. I left that job around 2008 and went to help a small company to setup an online business and an engineering department. Unfortunately, we parted ways a few years later and I made an offer on the store I now own. Of course my first offer was turned down, but a year later it was accepted. About Robertolya LLC: Robertolya is a combination of the names (mine and my wife's). I bought the domain several years ago and we started out selling handmade knitting things my wife made. In 2012 I formed an LLC called Robertolya and started selling rebuilt laptops. They sold well but it was never enough to make a living. In 2013 I bought the assets of Absolute Service Company and started DBA RC Technology. We have a long journey ahead of us, but we have time!
