Simply Amazing

We recently contacted A Day Away to find out about their Bioluminescence Tour. The office staff was friendly and informative and we booked a reservation for two. We received an email receipt with directions, and we arrived on our appointed time to enjoy to kayak trip. The staff on site was busily preparing and cleaning the equipment for our departure. Once the group had assembled we received basic instruction on safety and procedures, then departed for our adventure. The beginning of our trip was still daylight so we saw dolphin, alligators, and lots of birds. Once it got dark we saw the most amazing sights. The algae glows like a lightning bug when disturbed, so every time we paddled or a fish jumped it provided an amazing "fireworks" show in the water below. I understand they also offer manatee tours and shuttle view tours. I highly reccomend this experience for anyone who likes the outdoors!
