The last few times I have eaten here after 5pm, the food tastes terrible and have walked away with upset stomach. Food used to be better .

Recently refurbished, River Lanes has most of the latest technology: animated automatic scoring, bumpers that can be customized to come up only for the kids and then go back down when adults bowl, etc. There is a snack bar with a wide variety of foods, all cooked fresh to order and delivered to your lane. An arcade features ski ball and lots of other games for tokens that can be redeemed for prizes (similar to Chuck.E.Cheeze). The place is clean, well-lit, and family-friendly. I've had two large group parties there, both of which went pretty smoothly.

For adults, there is also a sit-down restaurant, bar, pool tables, darts, etc. but this area is off to one side with a separate entrance and does not intrude on the family atmosphere.
