BED BUGS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! My sons wrestling team stayed here and could visibly see the bugs, front desk denies this...read through the many reviews on other sites, there have been bed bug complaints since Aug 2016.

have stayed at this hotel before and had no issues but after Saturday...never again. We called Friday and talked to the manager.We wanted a Jacuzzi suite for our weekend getaway. She said she had one for us! YAY! She took our information and told her we would see her tomorrow. Iowa had a terrible snowstorm that day...but we made it! We checked in.... The clerk(the managers sister) ran our credit card and gave me the paperwork to sign. I noticed the price was lower than I had been told so I looked further and she was giving us just a plain king room. So, thinking she made a mistake, I said...we reserved a whirlpool suite. She goes on to tell me that the manager switched us to a different room. I asked her to call the manager because we had talked to her just the day before personally and I thought it was surely a mistake. She called and the manager refused to speak to me stating that she was off the clock. She told the clerk to tell us to go down the street to another establishment as she gave the room to someone who had it booked online for weeks. I was really upset as I was really looking forward to a romantic evening with my husband and a nice warm whirlpool bath after a 2 hr drive in a snowstorm. We had requested a non smoking room....I even asked if they has a smoking one available. Nope....So I was crying by now....trip ruined. I asked for a refund. The clerk says only the manager can do that.So again I said...well you better call the manager.Magically, she managed to get the money credited back to my card. Why didn't she call us if there was a trouble with our room. We wouldn't have been upset because we would have had time to book something else...somewhere else and not have driven so far in dangerous weather. I felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on us as nothing was said until I noticed myself. We wouldn't have known until we walked into the room.I also, have never know a manager that wasn't on duty 24/7 Most managers are not paid by the hour and are always to accommodate their guests.They do represent the company after all.We won't be staying there again.
