I have eaten in and this restaurant since it opened in The late 70's or early 80's. The food has consistently been good and service too. We get takeout a lot during the year and have never had except maybe only one sweet and sour

packet. This family resturant has been successful due to hard work,decent food and reasonable prices. if I were to complain anything it would be the decor and that is ony. my opinion.

I have not eaten at this place for about 4 yrs. I had great food and service in the past. But this time I was very disappointed for a number of reasons:

The most disappointing thing was that the man who took my order over the phone was very impatient; really he was borderline rude. Second, the same man when I got there to pick up my order (I recognized his rude voice) insisted that my order was correct when he saw I was going to open the bag that was stapled shut. When I got back to my place of work with our 3 dinner orders, we only had 2 orders of rice!!! Hence, I got shorted an order of rice that I paid for. Also, I asked that 2 of the orders be made mildly spicy. But there was no spiciness at all to the taste. And finally, 2 of the orders were szechuan chicken dinners, but there was hardly any chicken in the dinners and way too many green peppers; and I do mean way too many. I was sure I had ordered spicy szechuan chicken dinners; not spicy szechuan green pepper dinners.

The only 2 good things I have to say is that the woman at the cash register was very courteous and showed great customer service, and that the cashew chicken was good.

This restaurant has both authenic and american chinese food. They offer lunch specials & if you have the time dine in. The beef brocolli and shrimp egg foo young are excellent. You will not be disappointed.
