I move frequently for my job, and have seen a number of vets for my doxie. When I moved to Toledo, our neighbor recommended Dr. Bart. I have so far been very pleased with his services. That being said, it seems a lot of other people trust him as well, and getting an appointment with him may take a few days. If you have an emergency, he is probably not the one to call. Rather, I have an emergency vet number with 24 hour service saved in my phone.

I have taken my 5 pound Yorkie from the time she was 10 weeks old. She was rescued from a puppy mill situation and has many genetic disorders. A few days ago Delilah woke up shaking in pain. I called Heatherdowns Vet Clinic and asked that she be seen. I was rudely told Dr. Bart was in surgery and there was no other vet on staff at that time. I was told i could get her in the following day at 3pm. Of course I couldn't wait till then. I made some calls and got Delilah in immediately at West Toledo Animal hospital. During her exam the Dr. suggested Delilah have an x-ray of her back. I was confused because Dr. Bart had never said anything about Delilahs back, other than a joke about how she was "ticklish" when he pushed on a certain area during her last exam. Come to find out, Delilah has another genetic disorder called spondylosis which ive been told shes probably had from birth. This has been causing her periods of pain. Im very upset that I've trusted Dr. Bart and his staff. Please dont make the mistake I have.

We have been coming to Dr. Bart for 10+ years. The Doctor and staff are wonderful. We have had to say goodbye to more than one animal and the staff have been very caring toward our feelings. Very rarely are our kids sick because of prevention care by Dr. Bart. We highly recommend the Heatherdowns Vet. Clinic.

Dr. Bart and staff are great. While out of town my cat of 20 years got very sick and my fiancé had to take her in to be put to sleep. Dr. Bart called and talked to me over the phone and explained the situation and our options. Prior to this I always thought he was a great vet but his care and kindness in this situation really put it over the edge for me. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet in the Toledo area!

I give the Dr.Bart & Dr. Beth 10 STARS! They have been my vets for over 10 years. No complaints or problems here ever.I highly recommend Heatherdowns Veterinary Clinic

Pros: Very nice staff, Dr. Beth was pretty good.

Cons: The staff did not go over pricing with me, which states on a sign in the room that before anything is done they will go over the prices. The place is very run down and super dirty. My animal got really sick after visiting this place and i do believe it was from this filthy place because she was perfectly fine before. I dont recommend this vet, there are better out there.

The staff here are extremely nice and they treated us very well. Dr. Beth was very thorough and answered all of my questions, which were many considering it is my first puppy! She was knowledgable about bulldogs; she was gentle with him and kind. He actually had fun at the vet's office and loved the attention the girls (staff) gave him... I think he's actually going to be excited when we go back next!

When I moved to Toledo and got my two puppies I found Heatherdowns Vet and I could not be happier, I have been meaning to review them for years now because they always go above and beyond and still my know dogs name every time I come in! Currently I am away from Toledo 3-4 months for work and have my dogs with me and was unable to buy their heart worm pills, one call to Heatherdowns vet and they shipped me some free of charge that day! They have always had a friendly staff, affordable prices, and quality service. THANK YOU everyone at Heatherdowns Vet!!

Dr Bart is the best Vet we have ever had. We have been his customer for about ten years, we tell everyone we know to go to him and they will not regret the decision. He is affordable, lower prices than most Vets, with OUTSTANDING service and quality care. He genuinely cares about each pet, and each family he sees. Its amazing to have a Vet that not only thinks about how the pets well being effects the animal; but also the family members. He is absolutely the best.

I have visited this clinic several times and the service and attention to my pets was beyond comparison. They treat the pets as patients, not animals, which was very reassuring to me. I would recommend this Vetierary Clinc to anyone who has a pet in need of care.

I have 4 dogs and 8 cats... Dr. Bart Soeder is the best vet I have ever used. Very good at what he does, genuinely cares about the animals, and is extremely fair. He won't do unnecessary tests and procedures if the animal doesn't need them just to get more money out of you!! I trust him with all of my animals and will not take them anywhere else!

When I moved to Toledo I looked around for a vet and found this place. I had heard some good things so I figured I would go in and check it out. Dr. is very helpful and qualified and the office staff is very courteous. The facility is a little old as it is a converted house, however, this does NOT impact their level of care or abilities. I am glad I found this vet.
