Founded in 1971 as Volunteer Capital Corporation, J. Alexander s opened its first restaurant in 1991 in Nashville, Tenn. J. Complete Dining Experience

This is truely a don't miss night out. The staff is friendly, efficient, and is there to serve. The food is incredible, The salads taste as if they were grown and picked on site. The open fire grill is second to none. The steak actually melts in your mouth. If I could have one last meal it would be here.

J Alexanders gives you a personalized dining experience with excellent food! A host/hostess opens the door for you to step inside a rich looking astmosphere with an open kitchen fillinf the air with delightful scents. All the servers work in unison to fill your glass or take a request. And don't leave without trying their warm carrot cake topped with cream cheese frosting! It is the highlight of any meal.
