NOT HAPPY !!! ordered a water heater for my mother and was told by lowes sales person that I needed expansion tank because she is in city of Sylvania, Installer gets there to her home and calls me and wants to know why I purchansed it.??!! I call lowes and they tell me the installer should know what is required, I ask don't you guys know what the laws are ?"He said just bring back and we will credit acct. we are told city Sylvania requires it", But install guys says 40yr old house is grandfathered in. I felt confused and a little miss directed. Did not get good info . They should know this !

i own several rental house in toledo, and I have been a loyal Lowes customer for 5 years, average spending $2000-$3000 a month. but have noticed in the past few month or so that Lowes employees are lacking in knowledge in any department and are just plain rude in some cases. I now go to Home Depot. This store has improved so much and the employees are friendly and knowledgable with many area l. I will not be going to Lowes anymore. Try to speak to the manager about how rude the sale clerk is, and try to let the manager know how much money i spend at lowes each month. The answer was "he don't care, he didn't ask me that question" what a waste of time. that is why this store 7000 W Central Ave, Toledo Ohio is slowest store compare to home depot and menards.

Staff more helpful at this location. Good selection of products in huge aisles.
