This is the worst Indian food in Toledo. I don't understand how it is so busy. If you have a bland and juvenile palate then this is the place for you. The food was bland--American fast food is better than this place, the service was awful, and quite frankly way over priced. We received our "warm" plates before the food arrived--and so they were cold. Our appetizer was way over-fried, dried out, and had no flavor. Never again. I don't understand how this place is soooo popular--really? There are way better Indian places in Toledo. This does India an injustice of their amazing food.

As we travel over the world, we always refer back to Tandoor Toledo on Reynold's Road to compare the food with the best! The person who wrote "Tandoor" and then said "I highly recommend this place!" should have given it five stars, (not one). This is one of our favorite restaurants in the WORLD! The lunch buffet is an excellent value, and the Mango Yougart drink is superior!

I've been going to the Tandoor since the mid-1980s and it is my favorite restaurant on the planet! Indian is my favorite food. When I travel, the first thing I do is find an Indian restaurant. After many cities and many experiences, the Tandoor is still my top-rated Indian dining place.



I found the scathing review rather surprising—so curry is supposed to be so hot that you can't taste the flavors? Odd. I disagree. I find the subtle blends of the Tandoor's spices to be absolutely intoxicating and delicious. I crave it. It's like an addiction. There are other good Indian restaurants out there, but Tandoor is heads and shoulders above the rest.



The intimate atmosphere is a great place for first dates, and you can dress casually or more formally—all are accepted here. The lunch buffet is affordable and varies often. They'll even make special orders if you call ahead. The Tandoor staff aims to please, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for GOOD Indian food and a comfortable dining experience.
