"FAULTS" at Douglas is a trash apartment community, with no professional standards.

The tour apartment looks awesome but the one you'll rent, repairs and renovations are tacky. The handymen/painters take shortcuts and show no pride. Don't sign a lease before seeing your exact unit, they use bait and switch tactics!

The day of my lease, they had me wait until 4pm to hand over my keys. When I got inside Randy was still working. A previous renter left furniture in the garage I rented. I threw their belongings away and cleaned it before I could park.

I put in several work orders to get them to fix what should have been taken care of prior to my move in.

Concerning grounds, people throw trash on the grass and parking lot. Parking is terrible, neighbors park in front of the garage entrances and in front of the building. I couldn’t get to my paid spot because I couldn’t drive through the illegally parked cars. If I could park at night, I’d be blocked in the next morning. Towing signs are only decoration. The hallway was nasty. Outside, neighbors barbecued out front blocking access in your building.

After finally moving, they still won't do right. Its a month and a half later, I left that unit spotless, took pictures and my final statement said I would get a full refund. They're claiming it's a corporate issue and since my check is coming from Columbus, it possibly got "lost in the mail". Lauren said she would call them and let me know what's going on but there has been no follow up. Stephanie hasn’t responded to emails.

if I paid my rent 5 days late, they would have fined me. 10 days and they would have evicted me. Here it is 12 days after the 30 day timeframe (the Ohio deadline for returning deposits is 30 days) and they are still twiddling their thumbs! They NEVER had to chase me down for my rent. Why should I have to hunt them down for my deposit?

I have given them several chances. Their lack of concern, follow through and incompetence is truly unreal.
