I bought my first industrial sewing maching from Bob, he has spent countless hours on the phone with me. Sometimes, when I'm very frustrated & he's listened to me rant, he'll calmly suggest I sit down, enjoy a cup of tea & when I come back & it will all seem so much better. Very wise words I have learnt.
Another occasion I was on the phone with a professional, in the boat upholstery business, when he said to me I should take my machine to Bob, because if anyone could help me, it would be Bob. I'd recommend him to anybody & for the home sewer, he had great scissors for a fraction of what they cost at the "big box" retailers.
