Family Auto and Certified Transmissions have merged! We have taken our cars to Family Auto for several years. Once again Jimmy Hafemeister saved us $$! The back "third" brake light was out on my sons car. Weisner Auto wanted $330 to fix it. We took it to Jimmy and his crew quickly figured out it was a burnt wire. Saved us hundreds! This is the second time they have found an easy fix that the dealer wanted $$$ to repair. We will always take our cars to Family Auto/Certified Transmissions!

I had a really great experience with my auto repair this week. Jim Hafemeister was very honest and friendly. He gave me his cell phone number so that I could check the status of my car, and he always responded quickly. The transmission repair was priced right around what we were expecting to pay and it was finished when he said it would be! I have been putting this repair off due to a previously terrible experience with another repair shop, but from here on out I will be taking my car to Family Auto and Transmission service.

My experience here was was the best experience I've had at any automotive repair shop. My vehicle was have and over heating issue am I had no clue why. They found the issue right away and their prices weren't to high. Their service was also quick and professional. The guy I dealt with was Jim Hafemeister. He gave me his personal contact information so I could get a hold of him any time day or night. I would recommend this shop to anyone who has any problems with their vehicle. One of the few places out there that won't tell you one price and then charge more than they said for no reason. Best shop by far.

Just thought I had blew my transmission. Decided to price things out and found them to be most reasonable. Had my truck towed there and from what I told him on the phone he thought the same thing. Well after further examination they found that there was an oil leak from the filter. They were really honest and didn't try to find something just to charge me. I will bring my truck here for service the next time I need it.
