I went in today trying for the first time. My mom and brother told me that they were really good.

The guy that was running the counter was very friendly and personable. Saw the older gentleman working with a younger guy working on some porkand it was interesting to have the chance tosee what was going on in the back.

I came home with a huge steak and half a pound of peppered Jerkey for under thirty dollars.

On the way home I cracked open the Jerkey and it blew my mind! It was some of the best Jerkey I have ever had in my life. It was thick, but not to think to where you question of what your eating is truly Jerkey or a dried steak. It had good texture and great taste to go with it.

I have not put the steak on the grill yet but it looks beautiful sitting marinating in my fridge. Before I head back to college I will definitely be stopping by to pick up some Jerkey for the road.
