I just had the BEST haircut I've had in years, and I'm picky. I have coarse, difficult to manage hair that often ends up uneven or poorly textured. It has the right amount of body, the layers are even but still have a natural, not straight-cut look. It flows beautifully! As if that wasn't enough to make you want to try this location, about a month ago I tried somewhere else, and the result was an obviously unprofessional and an uneven mess .You get what you pay for. This will always be my to go hair place from now on.

I am actually replying to this As a loyal customer, first off, if a salon is busy, that is usually seen as a good thing! Second off, I know first hand all of the girls that work here go out of their way, often coming in on days off to accommodate clients, such as myself. Never has any stylist or receptionist been rude in anyway! They stay late and come in early when need be! They are busy because most people realize they are worth the return appointment and the wait if necessary. It's a shame you didnt get to experience the wonderful atmosphere and extreme talent of this salon...

My friend and I were looking for a place to get full highlights, glaze and haircut for her and when we tried to call to make an appointment the receptionist was outright rude. We called three times in a weeks time trying to make an appointment and every time she was rude and made it nearly impossible to schedule despite our flexibility. After the third call and yet another attitude from the receptionist we gave up and decided to go to a different salon. If we're going to be spending almost $200 every few months at a place we would much rather a place where the staff is friendly and it's not a headache to book!

Love my hair extensions my color and my nails... its so hard to find a salon that does Hair and Nails so well.... one stop Salon love it!!!!

i found this Salon thru Living Social i just moved to the area and i find hard to believe that the receptionist was Rude, she was super nice to!!!! i got my Nails Done By Denise and she was amazing, and now im going back to get my hair color,and booking my whole wedding part :) there is a final print on living social so you have to Be aware of that but rules are rules and seems like no one respect that and everyone wants things for nothing, but anyways i dont have to defend Salon Elemis speaks for it self, i was very HAPPYYYYY thank you all so much see you soon!

Went to salon elemis with a deal chicken deal and was told I couldn't use it. I was told its for "first time customers only". However the deal had no restrictions except an expiration date that I was not any where near. I questioned why I couldn't use it and was responded to with a rude response that I could return it to the company and get my $25 back. I told them that that wasn't the point however they refused to take it and said that I would have to pay full price. SO i paid $70 for a manicure/pedicure plus a tip and my total was $85. It was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had and I will never go back. Left the salon with a bad attitude and an unfortunate start to my day. Fortunately there are plenty of places to get my nails done and I won't have to ever go back to this poorly managed salon. I would never recommend this salon to anyone and I hope this reaches people before you waste your money like I did.

WOWOWOWOWOWWWWW I'M SO IMPRESSED!!!!! i love my hair soooooo much i had it done in new york which was soooo horrible and i pay 3x as much i live in Edison and i drove all the way to Toms River because my sister in law had told me about Salon Elemis... i'm soooo happy their price was soooo much cheaper and much better product,,, going to NY is nuttin special people think just bc is NY its going to better wellll WRONGggggg... thank you soooo much salon elemis crew!!! ill def be back soon!!!

Kim did a GREAT job on my hair... she knew what to use and not to use on my very fine hair and really took the time to explain why she did everything she did! I appreciate her listening to what I like and don't like .. i have no complains at all... and the message below i dont know what are talking about that place is soooo clean, even the bathroom is gorgeous and clean!!

I have been to alot of salons because my hair is very difficult to work with and this is the only place that really knows what there doing. they made my hair look the best it has ever looked. I look ten years younger. and the atmosphere is wonderful. you are greeted as soon as you walk in the door.(most other salons around here don't even acknowledge you). you feel like you've known them for years. I am so thankful I found this salon and I will most definitely tell all my friends about it. thank you so much salon elemis!!!!

Tried this salon after receiving coupon in mailer for free haircut w/color service. End result was an additional fee of $10 was tacked on to color charge (never had additional fees at any other salon) & additional fee for being new client. I believe the additional fees were to cover the "free haircut". The haircut was basically a trim. To top it off, color did not cover everything, nor did it last. And, areas near station were run down & dirty looking. Would never recommend this place to a friend.

I never thought my hair could look soooo good... ive been in many salons in NY no one could never get it right.. i found Salon Elemis online" THE BEST" ive been going there for 2 years...
