What a den of scam artists!

I went in for an oil change and to have a nail removed from a tire. The kid "calls me back" into the shop to show me that my tires are "dry rotted" and that he's "not allowed" to repair them I of course mentioned that only wood gets 'dry rot' and that rubber cracking is completely different and I asked who "wouldn't let him" repair it and he said "Uuhhhh, the company." He also tried to say that my sway bar end link was "about to snap" and if it did my jeep would flip over on the road, which of course is ridiculous. The bushing was worn out and if the link did snap the jeep would simply dip to the side slightly on hard turns. Not flip over in a firey inferno like this kid was trying to insinuate. He also tried to point out "a leaking trans line" and didn't seem to notice that the fluid on the line wasn't pink, it was green. It was excess coolant that I had spilled earlier when i was replacing my thermostat.

I of course turned down all of the fake repairs they were trying to add on and politely asked him and his boss to just change the oil and mentioned that i didn't have time to spend all day their getting unnecessary repairs. ...SO of course they took Another half hour to finish changing the oil and didn't rotate and fill the tires like they say they do as part of an oil change package. And the next day when i went to pop the hood to make sure that they actually changed the oil filter i found that they had disconnected my hood release cable out of spite.

I would seriously consider contacting the Better Businesses Bureau if i thought that they would actually do anything about these criminals.
