Provided by YPmobileI am greatly displeased with my experience. I have gone now for well over a year with scheduled appointments and somehow I do not get helped until 30 minutes to an hour after I was scheduled for. Service is rushed and you are often left unattended by your nail technician. Several occasions have ended with me cut up from either cuticle nippers or nail files - both of which are extremely painful. The prices are absurd and change every visit.

Provided by YPmobileVery disappointing. First-time there. Recommended by a friend. Had pedicure and nails done. The guy ended up putting tips on me which I didn't want. Told him no acrylic. Got that too. Now I have to get these soak off cause there's no way I'm getting them filled. All I wanted was a gel French manicure. Plus I didn't understand anything he was saying to me. Not to mention the bill was very high. First and last time there.

Provided by YP.comI have been coming to Vivian Nails since she and Eddie opened. Not only are they a hard working sweet couple, Vivian does amazing art work on nails as well as Edna. Sometimes they are busy but that is because they accept walk ins. People who complain must understand that when a booked client is late it throws off the entire schedule. Not to say that I have not waited a bit, I have. No different than any other salon. I also have my brows done which are always done perfectly. Her prices are equal to some and less than most. The pedicures are so relaxing and my toes and feet are looking pretty fresh with their care. You want great artwork? See Vivian, you want an AMAZING pedicure? See Eddie, you want a professional manicure with the same artistic talent as Vivian? See Edna. A great shop, sweet people, great mani/pedis and fair pricing. Thank you Vivian Nails for a job always well done! Charlene

Provided by YPmobileI really wish that Valerie would have told me how upset she was before she left. I am extremely professional and would never ask how much she wanted to spend first meeting her. I have an extensive clientele that I give my utmost attention to. I do a multitude of nail art so a simple cheetah print is not an issue...feel free to follow me on Instagram @ glamchic427!!!

Provided by YPmobileI went to Vivian nails for my first time. I needed an acrilic fill and I was told to go to Marissa. My orginal nail tech was booked until the middle of March, and I couldn't get an appointment anytime soon. As I sit down, she asks if I have a picture. I tell her yes and show her a picture of blue nails with glitter and cheetah print on each of the ring fingers. She rudely asked how much I was looking to spend today and I told her not over 30. She than says okay and begins to work. Now first of all, I like my nails thicker with the acrilic because I am a hairdresser and my hands are constantly in water. My nails also had that fanned look so they were wider on the ends. As she starts to fill my nails, she asked who does my nails and then begins to tell me that they do great art work but a horrible job filling them because they are lifting. I just got done telling her that I am a hairdresser so my nails always lift? I thought it was completely unprofessional for her to be talking down about someone else's work. After using the drill and cutting my cuticles several times, burning the skin underneath my nails, I found my nails to be thin and square instead of fanned out. She never filed the corners of my nails, so now they are sharp like razor blades and I have to be careful when I have an itch. She begins to do the cheetah design on each ring finger. I would've much rather her tell me she can't do cheetah instead of continuing to draw on my nail. So now on each ring finger it looks like the design you would find on a bandanna. As I get up to the desk to pay, I'm looking at each nail and how every nail is a different length, and how my cuticles are bleeding. After being asked to pay $40, I really couldn't believe it. I got nothing fancy, and not even the design I wanted from the picture I showed. Next time I will definitely wait until my ordinal nail tech is available.

Provided by YP.comI went to Vivian Nails today for the first time. I had to wait for about 15 min.. I don't mind waiting if I am going to get a good job done. Today, I had a mani and pedi. A girl named Nico took care of me and she was fantastic. She took her time and worked meticulously on my feet and hands. She then gave me a calf massage which was firm and long. She then did my manicure which was just as meticulous. She did a wonderful job on my cuticles and took her time. Both treatments were $30. What I liked very much was the fact that she did not ask for money. After my nails were done, I had to ask to pay. I just moved here from NY and there they ask for your money in a very rude way before your nails are done. I will definitely return to this salon. I found the attention to detail extraordinary. Nico was very sweet and polite.
Florence - Lavallette, Nj By the way. Mai nails is now Vivian's. They should mention the name change online.

Provided by YP.comFirst time my nails were done really well by Vivian. Then as I went back, I noticed that there was less time spent and my nails were not as nice. I'd show up on time for my appointment and she would always be running super late too, over booked, so I would sit and wait, sometimes as long as 45 min! Sometimes, I'd make an appointment and they would put it in for the wrong time or day so it would be a problem when I showed up. I was willing to over look it as long as my nails were done well, but the quality really went down. The sides of my nails would be really rough and the airbrush didn't cover them well, so you saw the pink gel at the sides and ends of the white tips. They are not cheap, and I do tip well, but I was tired of having a problem and not getting good quality work when I went. I get gel and by the second week, the nails were dull looking and the gel chipping.I won't be going back and I don't suggest anyone else go there either. Service goes down hill real fast once they see you are willing to keep coming back. I don't mind spending the money, but I want a good job and didn't get good quality work done here!
