Provided by YPmobileCleaning was completely painful nightmare, the person did not take into consideration that I have a deviated septum and cannot breathe through my nose, and the next day, when I went in for an extraction, my girlfriend dropped me off, to go home to be sure my daughter got off to school propely. We only live two minutes away from the office, so I told her if I needed her to come back sooner than 8:30 I would call her. I got to the office eight minutes late for my 8 o'clock appointment, when they asked where my ride was, I told them that she had gone home to make sure that my daughter got off to school, but we only live two minutes away, and I would call her as soon as she was needed, as my daughter is pretty responsible and can get herself off to school if she really needed to. They said that they refused to do it since nobody was there to take me home, and that the person needed to be in the office while it was being done. I repeated that my girlfriend was just two minutes away it would take her only two minutes to get here. Dr. Tin then flew into a tirade, lecturing me that he got there early just for me, and that somebody had to be in the office while it was being done, and he absolutely refused to do it, he was absolutely horrible and demeaning. Likewise for the receptionist, Chris. I call my girlfriend to inform her of this, by the time she got back to the office, it was approximately 816. She was so angry she went into the office to ask them why they could not have started the procedure while she was on her way. She pointed out that now that she was there, I probably would have been getting discharged just a few minutes later, and that it was completely unreasonable and inflexible and shortsighted of them. Chris told her that they had appointments at 8:30. My girlfriend pointed out that I would have been done right about now if they just would have started it and allowed her the two minutes to get back there. She left saying that we are going to go to another dentist and that this was unbelievably unreasonable. We drove the two minutes home, and my girlfriend went in and dialed the office and left a message for the office manager, noting that it was now 826, and i would have been done and home if they had used their heads. This is funny, because part of the instructions for the extraction said "relax we know you are nervous, we are here to serve your needs" The "welcome to Aspen Dental" paperwork says "we promise to listen to your hopes and fears, jitters and concerns, to provide care without pressure, and advice without obligation, to deliver equal doses of care and honesty because we're confident you'll trust us with your mouth when you know we have your best interest at heart. And we will stop at nothing to deliver an experience that is above and beyond what you thought dental care could be." Wow. Utter failure. NO ONE LISTENED, NO CARE OR CONCERN WAS DISPLAYED, I felt pressured, demeaned, disrespected, ignored, and judged. But, as it turns out, I am really glad this happened. Because I immediately made an appointment with another Dentist just down the street, I stopped by the Aspen office to pick up my x-rays and cancel my credit agreement, and, my new dentist advised me that all of the procedures that were suggested are not necessary, and especially not the wisdom tooth extraction!! It is not impacted, It had never given me any trouble!!! This person was patient, kind, respectful, and honest. I feel that she is looking out for my needs, and is not interested in ripping me off for something that is not necessary. Thank you, Aspen Dental for showing so much disrespect and condescension, because it chased me off to a much much better dentist. I wish I would have read the reviews about Aspen dental before I went, one site shows 150 reviews, 146 are horrible experiences! I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau and the State Board of dentistry.
