Byron Porter - I hesitate to even give him a one-star rating. He did my 2015 taxes knowing it was for my business. I provided every 1099 to him, and added them up for him. Mr Porter neglected to either itemize them, or add them in, I'm not sure what the problem was because he refused to help me, thus creating a $3,000 assessment. When I called to inquire of him, or have him do an amended return, he told me that my business wasn't worth his time. He yelled at me, mocked me, asked a question of my math skills, then interrupted my answer; asked the question again, interrupted my answer; asked the question AGAIN, then interrupted my answer yet again forcing me into tears. Not only did Mr. Porter berate me and treat me like a second-class citizen, he refused to look into the problem and told me that I should have added them all up correctly; whereby somehow alluding to his neglect being my fault.
I'm now forced to pay another CPA to fix the error he made, on top of paying the assessment by June 1st. I've never been treated so poorly by a so-called professional in my life.
