Provided by YP.comI live across the alley from this business so when I needed a couple of faucets I made an appointment with them for the next day. He did not show up. I called the office 30 minutes after he was supposed to be here. She acted like she didn't know who I was at first. Then she said she would have to call him. She was not nice about it. She was very hateful like I was the one who was wrong. A few minutes later she called me back and very hatefully told me he would be here in 5 minutes that he just got to the office. I asked what the problem was. She said very hatefully that they couldn't help it if a job ran late. I ask why they didn't call me if they were late . She was so hateful I just told her to forget it and hung up. If he was supposed to come to my house and was late with the last job why would he go back to the office? Wouldn't he just come straight to my house? They really need to get someone who knows customer service. It is not the customers fault that they don't show up.

Provided by YP.comStay away, this is hand down the worst company I have ever dealt in regards to customer service. In May 2015, my A/C broke and a tech was dispatched to my home via American Home Shield. I was told my A/C was leaking and it was the result of a coil (not an A/C expert). Coil was fixed but the company was dispatched again when the a/c starting leaking again causing damage to my drywall. The contractor told me that the leak was the result of a crooked “pan”. Finally, in August of 2015, the contractor contacted my property management company (I’m in the military and had PCS’d at that point) who told me to finally fix the A/C (fix had been temporary until now, go figure no one told us), the A/C would have to be lifted/moved because it was installed incorrectly when the house was built. The beginning of Sep 2015, I contacted HD Service Co. and asked them if I need to do anything as the homeowner to get this repair complete or if they were handling it direct with AHS like they had since May and if it was covered. I also asked if I could get a summary of repairs and to write out that the cause of this repair is an improper install (I was hoping I could take this to my home owners insurance company and have hem cover the drywall damage). Over a period of a month, I first spoke with Hugh, the owner of the company who said he would get back to me in couple days because his secretary was out and “he only knew enough to get himself in trouble”. After emailing the next week asking if they would follow up, he said that he was sorry about not getting back to me, he was bogged down (still no answer to my questions because he didn’t know me case). A day later, he sends me an email with vague pictures stating that my A/C needs to be lifted (what I already knew, still didn’t answer me questions) Two weeks in now, I contact them again, this time talking to his secretary who said she didn’t know anything about me case/repairs and that only Hugh would know. In regards to the summary of repairs, she tells me that she will get it to me. At week three, I again ask if Hugh is available and if I remind her about sending a summary of repairs in writing. She gives me his cell number and told me their scanner is broken and that it would be a couple days. Finally, I call Hugh and leave a message saying I would like a simple “yes” or “no” on any of my questions. He doesn’t even respond. At week four, I am practically begging the secretary for these records who says she will email them at the end of the week. I received nothing and finally stopped calling. I decide to instead deal with AHS at this point. The fact that they can’t even respond to inquiries at all or provide records is a huge indicator that this company doesn’t actually care about the services ir provides or the people it takes money from. Once again, stay away!!
