This place takes the cake! A wedding cake!



My husband and I eloped last year and were searching for an affordable yet lovely location for a reception and luckily hit the jackpot with the ballroom!



Not only is it simply elegant (very few decorations were needed to make this place special) but the owner, pam, was super accommodating and made us feel so at ease that we were able to concentrate on the important things like celebrating the night with family and friends. It was a night to cherish! so thank you very much!

I recently attended a wedding at the 6th Avenue Ballroom, the very place where I married my husband almost 9 years ago. I was reminded of what a great venue it is! I love love love this place! I still, STILL to this day, 9 years later have people telling me what a beautiful wedding I had, what a great time they had that night. We actually had the ceremony there and then the staff turned the room around for the reception and it worked really well. The wedding I just attended was my cousin's and it was even more beautiful! The lights, the ambiance, the size, the staff, Pam the owner is so sweet and accommodating, everything was so nice and I was happy to be there again. I would highly reccommend the 6th Avenue Ballrom for your events.

It was a great place for a wedding reception. We had a blast, the place was gorgeous, and the staff was very friendly. Hotels close by, and easy access to setup. We had an absolute blast at the reception! It was better than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

We got engaged Nov 2010. My mom called this venue in December 2010 to try to schedule a visit for our June 2012 wedding (we wanted June 16th). The owner (Pam) said Oh you you ve got PLENTY of time, just call me back in a few months . So my mom calls her back in Feb and the owner says Oh I already have a wedding booked that weekend. Shouldn t the owner have called us when other interest was expressed for that day, when we already expressed our interest and SHE told us to wait?? So we moved our wedding date. Due to her liquor license, she charges whatever she wants for alcohol. When we had our meeting to book the venue and pay our deposit, she told us kegs would be $100 each. Then she said (10days before my wedding) that they had gone up to $150 each. During this meeting, she was completely rude, sarcastic, interrupted everyone, and even said I dont know if I want to do this for you people anymore . 10 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING. We were so flustered at the time that we didnt look at the contract we had signed. After the wedding, we pulled it out and THE OWNER had typed Kegs $100 each in the contract! So my dad took it back to her and her response was Oh well you would ve had to pay tax so it would ve been close . Tax would ve made them roughly $109 each. So when we paid over $2400 for that place, she should ve offered to give us the difference back (about $90) but she didn t even offer; even after seeing she was wrong. Prices of the doorman were not included in the contract ($115) Price of one bartender was included, but we apparently need two ($30/hr for 6 hours) You also have to pay a $200 clean up deposit in case something gets broken during clean up. Well we are paid them an additional $250 so we DONT have to clean up. They are doing the clean up. So my mom said so if something gets broken during the clean that we are paying you to do, I just have to take your word for it and pay for it? and the owners response was yes, you ll just have to trust me SERIOUSLY?! Trust you when your word as been worthless this entire process? She changed our date, raised your prices, and cop an attitude every time we talk. Long story short, had I known this lady was not the least bit pleasurable to work with I would ve paid more money to have my wedding elsewhere and had the PLEASURE of working with someone nicer.
