Worst Used Car Experience of My Life



I purchased a used car for $8,000 cash and spent $300 more to found out it needed between $4,500 to $7,000 just to pass safety emissions inspection. I was offered $1,000 less than my investment with the understanding that when "the car was resold at auction", I would get the money owned back to me - big mistake to truth these type of people. Tried to use Consumer Rights Act but law is weak in Maine. Ran - do not walk away this dealership. Definition of crooks.
