I purchased a new car Sienna LTD on Sept. 8th 2013. One of the financial service staff (a women) recommended me to get a gap insurance for 5 years to protect my car. She recommended me and told me I would just pay $8 per month. But I was OVERCHARGED! $895 for 5 years!! Sounds like a scam to me..The Gap Insurance went up double price..it's about $19 per month! I asked her why my insurance went up. She said my insurance has increased and I have to pay for the insurance tax and have to pay $8 more. She told me $8 per month does not exist anymore. It sounds very fishy to me..So I canceled the insurance because she had lied to me about everything she had explained to me when I purchased the car. I was VERY disappointed of that service staff!
