I suffered a severely sprained ankle injury, and had care at kaiser hospital with my physician who only put my foot ona cast and gave me pain medication. However after taking off the cast, my foot continued to swell up when i would be physically active and there was constant mild pain and discomfort when i walked. I went back to my personal physician and i got nothing for it, x-rays said i was fine, and so i considered alternative medicine. I was referred to Nu Life Acupuncture & Herb Clinic, where i was treated for my sprain using Acupuncture. I attended 4 sessions of treatment over a month period, and must admit that every time it got better. After my last session i have had great results in mobility and the swelling is completely gone. I have been playing soccer since and my ankle feels great.
