Had some brown age spots on the side of my head removed earlier this year and I am very pleased with the results. The procedure was carefully explained and the treatment, by Eileen McKay, a registered nurse was cordial as well as professional.



You get a good zap with this particular treatment and there is some discomfort, but it's nothing significant...kind of like a static electricity shock when you touch something metallic after walking on synthetic carpet in dry weather.

There was some redness and blistering the next day, and you need to keep petroleum jelly on the treated area. In a day or two that diminishes significantly, within a week it's not really noticeable, and a few days later it's all gone. You don't want to have this done the day before the prom or your wedding.



Nine months later the spots have not returned and I look years younger. The whole procedure only took about half an hour and the cost was quite reasonable. Now that summer is over I'll probably go back again to have some other spots taken care of. Would have done it already, but you need to avoid sun exposure immediately after treatment.
