When calling this center today, I asked to make an appointment to have a mole looked at. The person answering me asked what kind of insurance I had and when I answered "Medicare" she said she did not have anything open until February. I had mentioned that since I am prone to skin cancer I was not able to wait that long and she then asked me "how do you know that? do you have any doctors?, and I explained that my dermatologist was located in Stamford and since my husband passed away, I moved here to Torrington to be close to my grandchildren, etc. This mole needs attention, since I've had these issues before and when I asked if there were other dermatologists in this area that she could recommend she said "no".



After having more than five surgeries for skin cancer, one severe, I think I know about not waiting to get something check that I believe is troublesome. So, after hanging up I wanted to voice my opinion to this center how un-professional I believe they are and how I cannot believe they call themselves dermatologists!
