Toutle Lake School District was established in 1930 and is a consolidation of the Silver Lake and Toutle school districts. It provides educational enrollment to more than 650 students in grades kindergarten through 12 and is located in Toutle, Wash. The school s curriculum includes reading, music, science, agriculture science, math, computer technology, physical education, health, English, foreign language, photography, art and special education. It offers various sports activities, such as football, volleyball, swimming, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, cross country, and track and field. Additionally, the school provides various clubs that include band, choir, motor sports, drama, fencing, ecology, hiking, honor society and key club. Toutle Lake has a parent-teacher organization that promotes understanding between parents, teachers, and students and provides services to the school that helps maintaining a constructive working relationship.
