We are regular house-boaters, every year we go on two trips. This year we chose Vermilion Houseboats only because there was a concert at a nearby casino that we were going to attend and the hotel was out of rooms. The owners at Vermilion Houseboats were extremely rude and unhelpful. The dock hands do not help load or unload your boat. I gave them two stars only because we did not have any issues with our boat itself. We will NEVER go on a houseboat trip with Vermilion Houseboats again, we will be sticking to Voyagaire Houseboats on Crane Lake!
