Shockingly Terrible

Shockingly terrible!

Stay Away if You Care about Your Boat. Stay away if you do not want to be ripped off.

Seemingly nice guys, but BEWARE. Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced.

Beyond the pale horrendous.

Drop your boat off and get ready for the Black Hole. It will not be returned any time close to the day it is promised. While it is there and deadline after deadline is missed, they will not answer the phone, call you back or respond to email, except in instances when you call repeatedly day after day, pleading politely for a call back.

Their workmanship is is even worse than their customer service. Our experience was as follows:

The list of repairs was short and easy, yet the boat was returned with most of the repairs NOT done and no mention that they did not perform the work.....even after leaving the boat with them for nearly 3 months.

Engine parts, fuel and equipment was removed from the boat and never returned. The shoddy workmanship damaged our boat. NOTE: when you remove an impeller, it needs to be replaced.....and if you remove and do not replace, you have a duty to inform the customer, lest you put the customer in a dangerous situation and cause engine overheating damage.

Their response regarding theft and damage to our boat was (paraphrasing), 'our work order language that you signed states that we are not responsible for the damage we do. Call the police if you want to get your stuff back that you claim we took.'

We hate lawsuits, but we do not want anyone else to experience what happened to us. Advanced Boat Center will soon learn that their work order language that they hide behind will not protect them against beyond-the-pale gross negligence and theft.
