Provided by YPmobileRude, negligent, doesn't seem to care about his patients at all. Since my dog died in his care under as dr.ross says, routine simple surgery, and had no explanation to how he died. Was quick to offer me a new dog but not an autopsy even at my own expense. Found out from his nurse he wasn't even there when Koa died, he was at lunch. He took any chance Koa had to live when he decided his lunch was more important than Koa's life.

Dr. Ross has been taking care of my pets for many years. Dr. Ross is a great Vet; he is straightforward and truly cares about animals. His prices are are fair and reasonable. I've had to take my dogs to a few other Vets when he's been out of town; however, it only increases my appreciation for Dr. Ross and his staff.
Dr Ross is definitely the most reasonably priced Vet in Tracy. He doesn't try to sell you unneeded tests or overpriced medications. The other Vets in town lure you in by quoting/advertising a lower fee; however, the cost is much higher when you leave.
Dr. Ross is thorough and efficient.; he treats my animals immediately, without any unnecessary tests, and he administers the medicine that will immediately help the pain, stress, or infection. Additionally, Dr. Ross showed me how to care for ongoing problems at home first. Over the years, Dr. Ross saved me money and unnecessary surgery. This results in lower costs and healthier animals.
I've seen a few bad reviews, and heard that some people don't appreciate his bedside manner, but with the number of times I've been to his office (or house calls because of the large animals) I can't imagine they are talking about the same person. Over the years he has treated several dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, and even chickens. I find him to be very nice, honest and to the point; he is someone who cares for your pets and he will not try and sell you unneeded tests, treatments, or overpriced medications. Those bad reviewers were probably not educated in animal husbandry.
You can trust Dr. Ross and his staff (209-836-0796). He has treated my animals for years and hopefully will continue to be their vet for many years to come. If anyone in the area is looking for a good, honest, and truly caring Vet, go see Dr. Ross.

Provided by YP.comWe took our family dog to Dr Ross and she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. He gave us some antibiotics and the infection cleared up but she was still obviously feeling worse. Then we noticed that when she went out to do her business, there was a broken thermometer in her stools. Dr Ross denies that it could have come from him or his assistants even though he was the ONLY vet that treated Maggie. She continued to get weaker over the next several days and had to be put down today. If I could give less than one star I would.

Provided by YP.comI went there only couple times. Then i relized they didnt' really do a good job of checking your animal.
My dog had a problem of standing for couple days, i took her in and all they did was poking her around and gave her some med. Couple days later she was still limping and problem with breathing. Then i went to another vet to see what is going on with my dog, right away they found out that she had uterus infection.
Another thing is, sometimes i went there around noon or little after. All the workers there went to lunch at the same times or something. The door was locked and the open sign was on. I didn't know and i waited for more 30 mins, i called and no ones picked up. They should have put a sign out there that they are going to lunch or break.
So i would not recommended.
