Really glad I found these reviews! I went to everyone on South Airport (the reviews of those jewelers and the pawn shop are accurate!!!) and then looked on my phone and found Karat Carat. They are just as good as everyone says! They spent time to explain things to me. The other places to a quick glance and tossed my jewelry on a small scale. Karat Carat scanned them with their xray machine and looked at them under a microscope, what a difference.



My diamonds werent too big but they did offer to buy them for a fair price (other places didnt even mention my nice quarter carat). I decided to keep the diamonds to use later and they removed them for free.



Nice experience and they paid more than everyone else to boot ! :)



Their office is a bit difficult to find as it is in an office suite in a strip mall but it was well worth the trip.

My friends in East Jordan told me about these folks. They had a great experience and felt they were paid and treated fairly. I decided to dust off an old shoe box full of coins and jewelry from my mother that I had been toting around for a number of years. I live in Petoskey, so even though my friends recommended them, I did some research on the internet and called the jewelry store and coin dealer in my area. With gas at $4.00 the drive to TC had to be worth it. Not only were their prices higher than our anyone I called, they were more than enough higher to justify driving to TC.



Truthfully I didn't think I had a lot, just some old yellow gold necklaces, and couple of rings and some old quarters and dimes my dad had saved...$937! Wow! There were even a few pieces small that they offered to buy, but told me how I could sell them for even more. Really nice people, comfortable, quiet, safe, office.

They were quick and honest. Used some fancy machine to look at my gold and paid me a lot more than I had been offered. Would definitely use them again.

Got the best price and paid cash. Very helpful! I kept seeing ads on TV from another jeweler, but they offered me about $100 less than what Karet paid!

They paid me 20% more than the antique dealer, 25% more than the jewelry store/coin dealer and almost 60% more than the pawn shop offered!
