Provided by YP.comThe Good:
The staff is fabulous, very helpful, and extremely knowledgable about area farming and the products that the co-op sells.
They give great discounts for carpooling, riding your bike, and bringing your own bags (reusing).
They offer a fabulous repeat shopper program that is very much worth looking into for anyone looking to make a change to eating food that is better for you and supports area agriculture.
The eat-in cafe offers some of the most fabulous food you can find around town. Service is quick and has always been very pleasant in my experience.
The Bad:
Very pricey... clearly, being green costs lots of green :0D
If "alternative lifestyles" repulse you, beware of staff members that seem to be encouraged to dress flamboyantly and embrace the "natural" lifestyle. Piercings, edgy dye jobs, moppish masses of dreadlocked hair, and patchouli oil are highly prevalent :0)
The selection is good but you still have to watch labels for processed food claiming to be natural but is loaded with nasties like high fructose, msg, etc. I would think they would be a little bit more choosey about some of the things that they line their shelves with.
