During 1932, while the country was hunkered down in an economic depression, there was at least one man, whose entrepreneurial spirit went unaffected. Ralph Samuelson, native of Chicago, immigrated to Traverse City and founded Concrete Service, Inc Ralph was a perfectionist and for the rest of his life he would strive to improve his company.Concrete Service Inc would remain his creation until the gradual handover to his two sons during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Today, the sons are still involved, but are in the process of passing the reigns off to a third generation of family.Without a doubt, Concrete Service, Inc has always been the mason's first choice as a masonry products supplier.
