Established in 1979, Preferred Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of medical care services. It offers behavioral health and substance abuse treatment and prevention solutions for adolescents and adults throughout Texas and Missouri. The center also provides tobacco cessation and adult treatment programs. Preferred Family Healthcare offers adolescent substance abuse rehabilitation, intensive in-home, general mental health and assisted living services. In addition, it provides judicial support solutions. The center is a division of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Funded Regional Support Center. Preferred Family Healthcare also offers the Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program. It provides group and recreational therapies.
