Owner Patrick Lapide worked in his family's business: Lawrence J Lapide, Inc in Brooklyn, NY. This thriving wholesale/retail specialty store was started by his grandfather and passed down through the generations, growing and expanding over the years. It is still going strong today with the help of matriarch Patricia Lapide, a local celebrity and beloved fixture at the store. Patrick and his wife Judy relocated to beautiful New Jersey in search of a quieter lifestyle. Five years ago, they opened Dragonfly Farms. "Our mission is to provide vibrant plants & flowers, eclectic treasures, and gorgeous home furnishings at prices you can't find anywhere else, " explains Judy. Dragonfly Farms puts a fresh, artsy spin on your typical home and garden store. Colorful displays of unique merchandise create an oasis of beauty and style. Often referred to as "Hamilton's Best Kept Secret", locals have been frequenting the store year after year in search of quality buys at bargain prices.
