Provided by YP.comHave been in the market for a spa, did our homework, so off to several companies to get pricing. Stopped on a weekday so not as busy, but did not matter. Salesperson acted like we were wasting his time if we wanted information and not buying in right then. Provided very little information so we cannot decide if we want their products... Oh yeah, we did purchase elsewhere..

Provided by YPmobileAfter interviewing several different pool companies, I ultimately decided on National pools for their creativity, vision, and quality for the price. They installed my pool in the fall so it would be completely ready in the spring. What separates National from the rest includes Dan who brings a unique perspective to your backyard with his ideas that others did not provide. He also makes it fun. I also had several unique requests which they fully accommodated. They also provide several standard features that are upgrades to others. All of the installers were friendly, helpful, patient and neat. I also appreciated the honesty - I "thought" I wanted a larger pool but was advised on a more appropriate size based on my yard size and indeed it fits in perfectly and looks beautiful. My entire family (and especially the kids) are looking forward to enjoying our new backyard.

Provided by YP.comWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They never showed up to do the job even though they readily took my $$$ deposit. No one ever picks up in customer service nor do they return phone calls.

Provided by YP.comThe worst experience I could of had. No comunication at all. The right hand didnt talk to the left hand. Call you at the last min and say they will be there. To many hiden costs. Took over 9 months to finish my pool and poor workmanship. Look else where.

Provided by YP.comTHE WHOLE JOB WAS A DISASTER. 90% OF THEIR WORKERS ARE SUBS THAT DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH.
BTW They still owe us our winter cover from last year- a $4K value.

Provided by YP.comFrom the first day of excavation these people at National did everything backwards. 90% of their workforce are sub-contractors and they don't speak english. So communication was nil. This company has to be the most poorly organized business I've ever encountered. The only person that was helpful was my salesman who dosen't work there any longer. He has become our friend through our Uphill Battle!!!

Provided by YP.comI had the worst experience with them. The salesman promised the moon and delivered nothing. There were hiden costs I wasnt told about. There was no contact from the construction department. They had my money then forgot about me. Took almost 11 months for everything to be done. I talked to the big boss and he was worried about my spelling then the poor service I recieved. Good luck if you use them.

Provided by YP.comI had a pool installed by national pools and had so many problems. If you dont believe me check with the NJ Better Business Bureau. They have a lot of complaints. Salesman was all talk. When they finally started on the pool we had extra costs because they found water. We were never told this was a possibility. Then they hit us up for more money to get rid of the dirt. They never showed up when they said they would and would call and expected us to drop everything when they called. I also ran into problems with the construction office. My phone calls wern't returned. Look else where. I can't believe someone bought 3 pools from them. Sounds fishy to me. I agree with the person that said it was a nice pool and not worth the hassle. There are better places to get a pool and dont go through the problems.

Provided by YP.comI agree with the first comments on National Pools, I had nothing but problem after problem. I found no communication from there part either. We were never kept informed on what was happening next. Stay away!!

Provided by YP.comI'm having National Pools install my 3rd pool since I've moved back to New Jersey last year. I still have the confidence I had when I had National installed my first pool in 1989. There is alot to choose from in today's market, I still think they are a top notch builder in this market. I can understand the frustrations there are when undertaking such a proposition. I had them also the first time. A pool seems to be alot of coordination between the set up crew and the installers. Although, I do not agree with the previous blog on National Pools, I can understand why they can feel that way. My wife was home during most of the installation while I travel alot for business and was not able to be there. I thought the process went well enough the first and second time to give them another shot. They did come through again with flying colors, in my opinion. I'm sure there are hundreds of satisfied clients out there with similar experiences.
Thank you again for a fine installation. I do and will always recommend National Pools to my friends and neighbors based on my experiences.
