It sounds like a good program and being that its the ymca I thought they would have better understanding and concern to the emotional and physical safety of the children attending but that's just not the case. Their policies and procedures sound good but are rarely adhered to. Any problems encountered they give false concern and try to appease the parent. We had issues regarding appropriate egress routes, blatantly disregarding my child in activities yet having her participating in the practice, no control what so ever over the class room, and a poorly educated staff. My biggest concern was when there was a problem or they were unsure what to do they did not contact us to let us know, let alone give us the option of what should be done to rectify the situation, but attempted to conceal it and try to "correct" the situation, themselves,
