Provided by YP.comI work in the shopping center so my options are limited to Murphy's or Lighthouse Grill. When Lighthouse is busy, which is almost every day, I go to Murphy's for lunch. I normally get a sandwich since my business doesn't have a microwave. First of all, I'd like to mention their lackluster selection of veggies available for sandwiches. I'm a vegetarian but not a fan of pickles, banana peppers or onions so there's really not a whole lot more. And why is cucumber $.50 extra? I can buy an organic cucumber at Safeway for a little over a dollar, there is no need to charge extra for cucumber (Same thing for olives, but I'll leave that be for now). Every time I fill out the sandwich form, the guys behind the counter smile at me and I, thinking they saw me fill out the form, go to get a tea from the back. When I get back my form is still there, every time. I work alone so I have less than 10 minutes to get back before I start to lose customers. I remind them of my order, and they normally knock off a dollar for the wait. Then I go check out with the most unpredictable cashier I've ever met. You never know what mood she'll be in but most of the time she's not nice.
