I purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress and boxspring in February of 2007, within a year, the mattress began to sag and indentatations of 2" deep. I contacted Sleepy's which is where I bought the bed from and complained. I was contacted by Sealy that a technician would be at my home to inspect the bedding. Upon inspection, the tech found the indentations in the mattress and said it was defective. Because I had a small tear on the bottom side of the mattress, Sealy denied the claim. I have written a letter and sent it certified mail with a return receipt. I received the card back in the mail therefore, I know it was received. I have not heard from anyone to date and I am deeply frustrated. I have a very bad back, and I bought this mattress based on it's firmness, as it was also highly recommened by the salesman. My back is killing me from sleeping on this defective mattress and Sealy is ignoring the problem. I do have a small tear on the bottom side of the mattress, but this clearly is not the reason that the bedding is defective.
