Arata Creek School is a part of the Social-Emotional Skill Program (SESP) that is operated by the Multnomah Education Service District, which also operates other elementary, middle and high schools. It provides services to students between the ages of 6 and 18 with severe emotional and behavioral disorders. The school offers academic instruction that is aligned with the Oregon Content Standards. Arata Creek School additionally provides violence prevention and social skills instruction programs. It offers services to children from Corbett, Centennial, David Douglas, Gresham-Barlow, Parkrose, Reynolds and Estacada districts. Located in Troutdale, Ore., the school serves more than 50 students in the Social-Emotional Skills Program.
